This website is operated by Kielder Woodcraft (referred to as "Kielder Woodcraft /we/our/us"). As user of this website (referred to as "you/your") you acknowledge that any use of this website including any transactions you make ("use/using") is subject to our terms and conditions below. Please read through these terms and conditions carefully before using this website.

1. General

1.1 We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website (see date at the top) and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

1.2 If you are not a consumer, you confirm that you have authority to bind any business on whose behalf you use this website

2. Order process

2.1 All orders that you place on this website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.

2.2 The 'confirmation' stage sets out the final details of your order. Following this, we will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered.

2.3 Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on despatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.

3. Delivery

3.1 This website is only for delivery of products to customers in mainland UK addresses. For customers living in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Orkney, Shetland and Scottish Islands, BFPO addresses, or the Republic of Ireland please contact us to discuss delivery options.

3.2 We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. Kielder Woodcraft shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.

3.3 Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.

3.4 All our smaller handmade items will be dispatched using Royal mail service. The cost of P&P for this service will be clearly stated at checkout. We aim to dispatch our in stock items within 2 days of cleared payment being received. Our larger pieces such as made to order coffee tables will be dispatched by courier and will require a signature on arrival. The cost of this courier service will be clearly stated at the checkout. Our handmade dining sets will be dispatched by our 2 man delivery team, delivery is free for our dining sets. However if there is no one to accept delivery on the agreed delivery date a delivery charge will apply for the 2nd delivery attempt, this will have to be paid before the team will try to redeliver.

4. Payment

4.1 Payments can be made using our secure online card payment facility we also accept cheque payments. Once your card payment is received you will be sent an order confirmation email. When ordering one of our larger made to order items a 50% deposit will be required at the time of ordering. The remaining balance will be required the day before or on the actual delivery day.

4.2 The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order.

4.3 All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rates but exclude delivery charges, unless expressly stated otherwise

5. Returns & Cancellations

5.1 We offer a 14 day money back guarantee, where the customer can return an item and receive a full refund of the price of the item. We do not refund postage costs unless the item is faulty. In the unlikely event there is a fault with an item you receive from us we will send a replacement or refund the cost of the item including postage.

Some of our products such as our made to order furniture are excluded from the 14 day money back Guarantee unless the item is faulty. In the unlikely event a piece of our handmade furniture is faulty we will handcraft another piece as soon as possible and arrange collection of the faulty item, or refund in full if required by the customer or repair the piece on site if the fault is minor.
